Is it me or do the early 2g's 95-96 AWD launch more violently than 97-99 AWD. I know that their is a gear ratio difference between the tranny and, the transfer case's between 95-96 and, 97-99. I'm just asking because i owned many DSM's over the years and, i noticed a difference in launches between the early 2g's and, the later 2g's its like the later 2g's launch a bit softer.

There are so many other variables other than gear ratio, transfer case, etc. One, each car has it's own differences. Two, were all of the DSM's that you have owned modded in the same way? Three, were they all in the exact same condition? It just doesn't seem like their is a real right way to answer that question...

One, yes they were all stock. Two, all were in good condition. Three, yes they were in the exact same condition meaning not modded. All car's were manual i never owned an automatic in my life. All I'm asking is if any body that owned both early and, late 2G AWD's noticed the same thing or not.
