95-96 to 97-99 conversion?

Hi, I am aware that you can switch a talon to an eclipse, or viseversa but I cannot figure out if you can convert an early 2g to a later 2g I am mainly talking about the front and rear bumpers, and spoiler. I dont think there are to many other differences in appearences (correct me if im wrong) If the swap is available is it somewhat easy, and straightforeward.

Which early 2G and late 2G?

The Talons have a different rear bumper cover than the Eclipses, it doesn't matter which year.

The 95-96 eclipses have the same headlights as the 95-98 Talons. Changing these to a later year (called 2Gb) would require you to use 2Gb front bumper and 2Gb headlights.

The side skirts are different between Eclipses and Talons, mine didn't have any side skirts at all.

Well... theres a few different things between what the call the 2ga and the 2gb style. There's four different things. Front Bumper, Rear bumper, side skirts and headlights. Theyre quite an easy conversion actually. If you were trying to do the conversion you would need all those parts and everything basically bolts up... you may have to put a little extra time into mounting everything perfect. But other than that its an easy conversion. Check around on the forums... theres been plenty of people that have converted these cars from 95,96 to the 97-99 style.

Sorry I didnt make it clear, but what i meant was say i have a 95 eclipse gsx (I dont) and I want to make it look the same as a 97-99 eclipse gsx.

You'll need 98-99 2Gb headlights, front bumper, rear bumper, reverse lights, side skirts and fog lights.
