well i blew a rod bearing in cylinder #1 in my 6 bolt and i found a 95 GSX motor and wondering do i have to modify anything to make it work?

You would have to machine motor mount mounting locations in it. The 2g front and rear mounts are on the transmission. The 1g's are on the engine block.

is there anyway i can unbolt the mounts from my 6bolt and bolt it on to the 7bolt? i really have no access to a welder so any1 please help

How bad is the rod bearing? It's alot cheaper and easier to swap the rod bearing if the crank isn't scored than it is to make a 2G engine fit into a 1G.

The seven bolt motor has no mounting locations on it except the 1 on the drivers side.

^^^+1 By the time you swap stuff over you could have had your car up and running again.

Check the classifieds on here look for a seller with good reputation. Or you could always look for it locally. You could get a good 6bolt for well under 1k.

ive been looking and cant find anything in the tri-state and i dont feeling buying a motor for 1500 from a JDM motor place
