Well to start of with I bought this car 4 years ago and I am just getting around to a build thread. Well the car is not where it was back then it has had alot of work put into it. However since I am just now getting around to starting this I will try to post pictures in order and exsplain everything that was done and what I am doing now.

This how it sat when I bought it. Apexi n1 exhuast, kyb agx shock, pro kit springs, and the car also Iis black on black leather in good condition.

Shorly after this I started ordering some parts after all the matenience stuff was handled. Plx wide band, vrsf front mount, 255hp wally, fuel feed upgrade line to rail and sending unit, 99 gsx wheels, and stuff to go to jackel sd.

Shortly after this pic is when I ran the 12.8 quarter mile horrible 60 due to bad suspension setup on my part and blew the map sensor vacume off at 1/8 th mile

Now from here on is basicly where we are today there is a good amount of progress being made and I have taken pics but want to get a little more done b4 I update again.

As of right now it is undergoing wire tuck, shaving and painting engine bay, painting the rest of the car, and building a motor. Aswell as some other smaller things I am upgrading.

What are your plans for a new set up to hit 9's?

I have a buschur stage2 with welded center going with the wally 450 pump 1450 injectors kelford 280 cams kiggly behives fresh 9 to1 motor with scat rods all arp hardware and a main girdle going to see where the hx35 7 blade will take it with pans to put on a hx40

9s is a overall goal for the car but 10s are the goal for this comming year.

If your going with those cams you minus well get rid of the bolt on housing.

Im just going to hang with it untill I max it out on that hot side. Then the plan is to switch to a t3 housing hx40 with batmowheel. If I can hit a low 11 high 10 on the hx35 I will be extremely happy, and anxious to run the hx40.

It will probably make more power with milder cams on that housing. I used to have a bolt on hx40 with stock intake and bc 272's. It was trapping mid 130's. I switched to a smim and kelford 272's with more boost and it was a struggle to trap 130mph. Those cams will want to breath over 7krpm and that housing isn't going to flow shit up top.

If I have to go bigger on turbo setup I will. I guess this is more of a tentative plan for now I willl see what it wants for now these are the plans to stay on track for budget and future goals.

A little view of the wire tuck progress.

This is where I decided to stop for the night. I still have yet to drill the hole in the firewall to run the alt. Wires out and the ecu wires.

Well I think I am going to take your advise and go with the 272 kelford mostly due to the fact that the 280s want to live above 7k and it isnt in my budget to get the frontline front case and have the assembly balanced right now.

Sounds like a plan. Good thing you are painting your car black cause if you were going blue our cars would be damn near identical. I am going to be in the market to slap a holset on the GVR4 once I get all the other BS done from it sitting so long. My issue is that the GVR4 wont be anywhere near the weight of your talon so I don't see any reason you wont be able to hit low 11's/high 10's.

P.S. ITS ABOUT TIME YOU POST UP A BUILD THREAD LOL!!

Sub'd :hellyeah:

Looks good bobby, I think tonight I am going to start a full build thread, talking last night you made me feel a lot better about the car and to actually want to keep progressing forward despite everything that happens with storage thanks!
