Added my 8an return which only required modifying the pump bracket a little.

I determined the return fitting and 6an male fitting would interfere with each other, so I used a 30* washer.

I will have to pressure test this before using. Aside of cutting the pick-up tube to length, some wiring, putting in a Walbro pump, this is about done. I am currently waiting on about a billion dollars of fittings, check valves, filter, merge, etc.

The puzzle continues. It was a job just to keep track of all the stuff and having to order from like 5 different places. A couple of them were only available through a random website and the prices were brow raising, but there's nothing you can do aside of pay up. Now I'm waiting on a few more fittings and a different -6 check valve.

Clearances for the fittings were a concern and it is looking very good.

From assembly to this via pushlock; 12an pushlock to 12an male/male orb, to Earls 100 micron filter, to -12 male/male orb ($$) to the 2345a pump. Waiting on fittings for the pump outlet for a 10an pushlock connection.

-10an check valve to -10 male orb/female to 10an Y. Other side is 10an to 6an reducer female/female.

The Improved Racing check valves are amazing. I decided to coin up for the best one I could buy for the 2345a pump, why cheapen out now? For the 'stock' pump, I bought a 50 dollar check valve from Summit and they were not comparable. I ended up returning it for another Improved Racing valve.
The -6 check valve is probably the most important piece of the puzzle anyways, if it fails this whole project flops.

For kicks here's the stock banjo bolt vs the size of the new pick-up tube.

I laid my parts out on the car to see how this would all physically work and it's going to be quite the setup but it will work. I am going to use the natural curvature of the hose to connect some dots. Laying it out, I determined using 45* fittings was the ticket and I should use a T instead of a Y. As with anything I do on cars I am all about FLOW. No hard turns or anything like that.

To do:

Pressure test my welding of the -6an to assembly hat.
Install stock Evo 9 pump
Install electrical bulkhead
Make bracket for 2345a pump and filter and possibly for the lines.
Maybe change the 8an return line fitting on the housing from 90* to straight, that will only be determined at the end I'm afraid.
Make a special tool for 12an pushlock fittings on hose.
Make a new 10an feed line from firewall to assembly.
Install Hobbs switch to a second relay.

Decided to go with a new walbro 190 for the in-tank. Perfect for cruise and the few lb boost before the external pump kicks on. JBweld for mental insurance on my fine metalwork. "Bulkhead" was filled with RTV. Send it.

The pump and filter connection had to be physically secured. I used a scrap piece of aluminum and proper hardware to create a base. The relay looks to fit nicely on too.

Pump assembly mounted and lines made. I will be making some supports for the lines and will have to cut the carpet for a finished install. Wiring should be fairly simple. The major thing left is running the feed line from the firewall to the trunk.

More progress. I still have to wire the 2345a pump, check for leaks, trim carpet, make some support brackets for the hoses. Running the new feed line under the car was not fun. I still have the original feed line under the car and will have to get the car on a lift to sort it all out properly.
