ECMlink 93 EPROM ECU in a 95 GST

Quick question,

Just got a DSMLINK, can it work with a 93 Eprom in a
95 GST?

I'm not sure I understand this completely. Why are you wanting to use a 93 eprom when your 95 most likely already has an eprom ecu.

Also, as far as I know, the ECUs are different between the two generations. The timing curves are way more aggressive on the 1gs.

You questions is not very clear, but here is some answeres for you.
A 93 ECU will not work in a 95.
A 2G DSMLink chip will not work in a 1G (1993) ECU

Thanks for your replies,

I have one of the few 95 DSM that didn't come with an Eprom ECU,
I bought an ECU of Ebay that said it was a 93 and it would work with
96-99.

I figured all 2G ECUs should work together so...I bought it.

I guesse I just got to sell this one and by a 95 Eprom.
