I have had the car for since September 2009 and the rad light, parking light, oil light seem to keep a low dim at all times, but increases when I accelerate. Then they get brighter and the car wants to stall. Then one morning I went out & the car wouldn't start. I took it to my mechanic and he's telling me it is the alternator. My boyfriend thinks it's an electrical problem. What do you guys suggest the problem is?

the alt. has something to do with the electric so i would try that first since its not that expensive anyway and see how it goes from there

the alternator is being replaced tomorrow and I hope that will fix the problem...
