i have a question could i put a 4g63 tubo motor in the gas with that stock tranny nd wut esle would i nneeed to covert it
thanks

If you swap motors you will need to convert your cpu
your tranny should be fine
in all reality they are the same motor except one is built for a turbo and one is not
there are many threads and posts on this subject
try searching it brah

the cranks are different so i think you have to swap trannys... but you definitely need to swap in a turbo wiring harness along with the ecu.And then all the essentials, intercooler, oil filter housing, thermostat housing (if the engine dident have it already) also, the stock fuel pump is alright, but its best to get a better one.

Wrong. The 4g63 and 4g63t share the same crank and rods along with plenty other parts. The OP is putting a 4g63t in his GS. So all he would need is:

Injector resistor pack
knock sensor
Ecu

This is assuming if the engine came complete. He can use the F5M22(nt) trans but it would be a good idea to use the stronger F5M33 trans and clutch and flywheel.

You will need the complete turbo harness and ecu as stated above.
I recommend you upgrade your fuel pump to at least a 190lph unit.

Doing the same thing to my friends 92 Eagle Talon and my 92 GS Eclipse. You should definetly search through the forums; plenty of info!!! Crank and cams are the same, you should add oil jets to keep pistons cool, wiring harness ECM Pistons and rods to change compression ratio. etc. Good Luck!!!

yea i have a 4g63 with the turbo on it nd my friend gs is automatic so i waqnted to no if the turbo works differently

You are fine to use the 4g63 turbo engine with the automatic transmission. Just make sure you swap the flex plate and the other parts onto the turbo motor.
