John,
The car looks awesome man. Best of luck in 2013. I hope the gremlins will be exorcised and you can make some passes to that rockets full potential!

Hoping to have it ready by the March IFO in Rockingham. Plan is to fly Marco down once its done to help setup the launch control and suspension at the track.

Started the car last night. Still have a lot of finishing stuff to do, shortening the dumps and exhaust, the finisher plates for the bumper. Some modifications of the IC pipe. We will dyno it first make sure it all works then do all the finish work and rehang the front end. After we make sure it all works together it will be blown ack apart one more time for paint.

Bumper mounts in the front center with 4 nutserts, the sides mount to brakes on the fenders then there is a pan that will go under the whole front to further tie it together and to the front bar.

Its MUCH louder than it use to be, surprising how much that bullet muffler made a difference.

Looks Great! This gives me much motivation for my 1G build. Love the whole set-up. Good luck with them upcoming race season I will be following.

Just wrapped up doing the same to my 1G

Was going to use a high temp paint on the bezel and hope the ceramic coating on the pipes keeps it in tact.

Are you coating your dumps/downpipe or leaving them raw?

Can't wait to see this thing run, hope it stays together and cooperates this year!

Got a few things done today to remove weight, first was the Brakeman rear brake setup. These saved 21lbs vs the stock rear brakes.

Then I swapped out my modified factory rear mustache bar for one made by Vassil, shaved off 6lbs here.

Weighed it today with everything assembled, current race weight with me in it is down to 2728 with all the fluids and me in it. Still lots of places to drop a lot of weight too.

Hey John, if you don't mind me asking where did you order the pistons from?? I'm in need of a high comp, 23mm pin, LR2.0 piston for my R&Rs.

Looking awesome, nice savings for the rears! Did the weight take into account the e-brake and cabling? I'm assuming you have a staging brake too. 21lbs is awesome!

That weight does not include the ebrake aassembly and cables since I have to pull them still.

Car is getting close to dyno time before final tear down for paint and coatings.

Looking good. When is it going to hit the rollers? Any idea on how much it helps to go to a forward facing setup?
