Hey I am a bit confused about the wiring. I don't want to mess anything up that's why I want to clarify things.
I have read this over and over again.
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...4-ecu-swap-into-1990-dsm-ignition-wiring.html
My question is the black/white wire coming from the 1990 coil pack needs to be spliced to the corresponding black/white wire from the 1991-1994 Power Transistor.
I have no clue what spliced means i thought i did but i'm not sure. i drew a little diagram.
from my understanding i the black/white wire from the Power Transistor needs to be tapped into the coil pack?
and also the white wire from the power transistor needs to be lengthened and replace pin #109 in the ecu. meaning that i need to cut the #109 wire that goes into the ecu and attach the white wire from the Power transistor. the wire i just cut from the ecu that was originally on #109 should just be tucked away right?
