@Timb , 1990 and 91s both had pop up headlights. Check the VIN on your car. It is a 92-4. The VIN will tell you and the plate on the door sill will also.

So I just checked the vin and it says the date was sep 91? The vin tag and door sticker have the same vin on them as well.

Manufactured Sept 1991, which is a 92 model year.
For example, my 91 TSi was manufactured in 90.
