Hi everyone,


I haven’t posted much since joining the forum, but to be honest there hasn’t been a lot of major progress yet.

The car is still at the body shop, waiting its turn. So far, it has been completely disassembled, and laser sandblasting has been done, along with protective treatment to prevent further rust until the real bodywork begins.
The plan is to start with the fundamental body repairs first and make sure everything is solid before moving on.
Below are a few pictures from when the parts were removed, the engine was taken out, and from the sandblasting process.

And I almost forgot to mention after a lot of back and forth and patience from Marko @DSM_15_2G during the whole process of buying the car, I’ll be putting him to work even more now with the restoration… and especially with the GS to GS-T conversion. sry Marko

Next step was stripping the car down and getting it ready for sandblasting and bodywork.
