General 91 EPROM in a 90 Car?

I have a 90 Laser RS w/ non-EPROM ECU, I want to purchase an EPROM ECU from a 91 Eclipse, will this work in my 90 Laser?

There's more to using a 91 in a 90 than that. The PTM has to be swapped with a 91 and modified so your tach reads correctly.

not to jump in and kill your question gnes100, but is it only the 91 ecu that i can use in my 93 talon without having to swap pins etc.?

91-94 are interchangeable, although all '94 ECUs are CA. 90 ECU have an inverted tach signal and pins 6 & 14 (Idle position and MAF Reset) reversed.
