1G 91 EPROM ECU fried or not

I recently bought a 90 gst and I had "2" ecus in the trunk one says 91gsx and the other one is for the 90 gst

I tried starting it with both but it only cranks with the 90 I expect it to crank but throw my gauges off with the 91 but nothing
I opened it and found this inside is it fried and who could I send it for a fix I hate to throw away a nice epromed ecu considering how rare they are to find these days

That looks pretty bad. Not sure if its going to be repairable.

It's fried. Send it off to ECMTuning, Inc. , They'll fix it right up.

The corrosion in the second picture doesn't look too bad. But the first thing I check is to see if the processors are good.

Your ECU should be repairable, but it's hard to see from the first picture if both the main processor (IC6) and smaller processor (IC5) are still good. They look okay but sometimes they can be slightly brown in the center and be bad, making the ECU hard to repair without spare parts. In more obvious cases the processors crack and bubble in the center

ECMTuning would certainly be able to help with the repairs, but if you need a replacement ecu sent to you quickly, let me know.

I have a clean EPROM ECU which never had any leakage on the board. It is a 94
non-turbo model converted to a turbo. Its been socketed and has a EA01 EPROM chip in there just like your EPROM ECU. It is available on eBay under user ID biganuval. The price is $189 (buy it now) or $169 if want to place a bid. There is also a $50 core charge. I provide you with a prepaid return box to send your old one back and get your refund.
