eprom or not to eprom?

i have a 90 laser rs turbo and unfortunately i dont think it has an eprom ecu. the outside of the ecu ( the case itself) has the number with the E in front but when i opened it up it is missing the eprom kinda of a dumb question but i was wanting to know if i can put a 91-94 eprom in my car since the 90 model eprom are really rare. or even a 95-99 eprom but i dont think that would work. let me know. im a newbie to ecu talk

no, you cannot use a 91-94 ecu without switching pins. it will not work if you try to just plug and play. the 2g ecu will not work either.

i think i will just take my chances on getting an actual 90 model eprom ecu. will it be safe to run 750's with a maft and safc ( not here yet)setup? that is why i wanted the eprom to begin with.
