So I have a 1991 eclipse automatic fwd with the 1.8l im now having to replace my motor again for the third time last motor was 2 yrs ago and I got it cheap from a salvage yard for I think $380 bucks shipped but im tired of it being so unreliable. So my question is what would be my best option for the next motor im not rich so can’t spend a lot. This my daily driver. And my only vehicle so any help is greatly appreciated and if there is a motor that will bolt right to the transmission what will need to be changed ecu stall converter etc.?
