90 TSI throttle body and TPS

So I'm having trouble locating a 90 TSI/Gsx tps. I know it is possible to swap the TB for a later model, but are there any wiring issues to take note of when connecting 90 model harness to later model tps; ie,voltage/resistance problems. I have looked all thru these forums and cannot find my answer.

91 and later do have a different tps wire up on them,which you would have to splice wire. Check out the classifieds.

Well since the 90 tps is difficult to find I would rather cut and splice wires to have a more modern and less expensive part. I have all the parts needed. My question now is if the 1990 power(5v) has the same amp rating as the later model? I dont want to fry my ecu.

All dsm tps's work the same. The only difference is the wireing . You can swap it with no issues at all.
