90 tsi awd v. 97 eclipse gst

Hi, I have a white 97 eclipse gst with 103K miles. It has a new s16g turbo, 190 fuel pump, gauge pod, boost gauge, turbo timer, uicp w/1g bov, catback and had by timing belt done with water pump recently. I am interested in trading for a 90 tsi awd that is also white and has 136K miles with fuel pump, s16g turbo, supra side mount, gauges, tt, boost controller, full exhuast and mint body condition. My question is this a good trade if it is straight up? I was thinking trading and getting 500-600 dollars but let me know what people think. I am interested in awd because i go to school upstate and want a car i can use all the time but can not have one if this trade sucks ha. So i am open to peoples insight.

aka i am also wondering if going to the not so good looking older body style is worth it...

It basically comes to down to your own opinion. i would trade cause AWD is the way to go. but I would have to get some money from him though. and also Is the 1g in MINT condition. If not he better be giving you some $$

he says it is in MINT condition but i still want some money just in case shit breaks and also so i can do a little work. I feel with a 2g, i should get some money. He said he has to see my car first.

Im trading my non running / moving 1g awd for a stock 2g gst. More than likely . My ecu is gone and hes bringing one with him and if it starts it starts. If not hes still trailering it back. I want 2g and top end. Hes getting a lightly modded 1g. Im sure Ill be back to AWD soon enough tho. All boils down to what you want.

yea, i was thinking 500-1000 dollars is reasonable. My car has 1 scratch that is pretty bad that is on the drivers sad door and also the back bumper has a fair amount of scratches. All of this could easily be taken care of for about 250-350 at any maaco. I already had estimates done because i was planning on taking care of it my self but now if i trade im not going to.

I have not traded pictures yet because i dont have any pictures of my car and neither does this person
