So I'm posting this in the newbie section because I'm a noob to 4g63's.
I'm trying to figure out what motor mount I need and I'm confused at what I'm looking at.
Now I know that AWD and FWD and Auto and standard have differences too.
I went to take a picture of the mounting point on my block and it looks like they drilled the block or broke part of the mount.I'm not sure.
The motor supposedly came out of a 92 and that is ALL I know about it.
It is now in a 1990 Talon Tsi 5 speed body.
The mount that came with the car doesn't even begin to line up, so what mount do I need to get?A AWD mount with Auto or a AWD mount with a 5 speed?
here are two pictures.

The bolt in the block, and the broken hole are the 2 locations where the front mount bracket bolt up. The bracket is then bolted to the actual front engine mount. You cant just bolt the bracket with the 1 bolt, something has to be done for the second hole.

What would be the best way to weld or fab something up to get it to work?
I also want to know what bracket I need?
What damages am I risking if I drive it with no front roll stop in at all?
I've read about making the rear mount solid and eliminating the front when people do a 7 bolt swap.
Maybe I can do something like that?
I'm really stressing out over this....
