For me the failure came from the yoke on the drive shaft. There is a brass freeze plug looking thing at the back of it. And that is where my leak was coming from. I ended up using some stuff that I got from a Jet mechanic, like super tough gasket maker stuff. I coated the back of the yoke and it never leaked again.

However I had to get a new T-case... but for other reasons.

Yeah, there's a plastic seal back there (from my understanding) and the center freeze plug-like thing that Sean is talking about. A common thing that people do if that's leaking is coat the entire thing in JB weld or Quik Steel and that seals it up.

Edit : That was also pretty helpful to watch as I've never taken the time to look for videos and it's something I'm likely going to do as I have the seals and need to crawl down there to fix an oil return leak.

yah ik about the yoke brass plate. i was just making a video on how to put new seals in, so people can do it there selfs.
