94 internals in a 90 case?

Searched with not much help. Currently i have a 94 fwd trans in my 90 which i pulled tonight because of a bad leak from the bell housing.Turns out the case slipt all the way around the diff (im assuming wheel hop got me). So i pulled the guts out of the case and everything looks ok yet, even the diff.Now i have the 90 trans that came with the car that i can use but 2nd and 3rd are basically shot, so my question is can i swap the guts from the 94 into the 90 case/will they fit or even just use the bell housing from the 90 onto the whole 94 setup?

Well for all you peckers that veiwed and didnt answer..yes it works with a few tricks.
