80amp fuse keeps blowing out!!!!

My 80 Amp fuse for the alt keeps blowing out right away. I have no idea why. None of the interior accesories work cause i cant hook the alt termi. to the batt.

It sounds like you have a shorted diode(s) in the Alt. Try taking the B+ wire (large red one) off the back of the Alt and see if it blows the fuse. Do not let it touch ground for it will blow the fuse, wrap electrical tape around it. Watch out for your tools for if you don't disconnect the battery they can short out when the new fuse is installed. If it doesn't blow with the wire off then you should get the Alt checked.

There are places that can rebuild it or you can get a replacement new, rebuilt, or from a wrecking yard.
