I have a 91 GS-T and so I bought a chip for my ECU. So i removed the ECU and opened it up to see no place to solder the EPROM craddle. Sure enough, my doorjam reveals it's an 8/90 production year
.
My question is; Is it possible to swap an ECU from an earlier PY (I.E. Say a 2/90 or any other 90 equiped with an EPROM) instead of replacing the ECU from a 91+ GS-T along with the other headaches required (I.E. Coil Pack, Coil Transistor, Tach or Instrument Cluster)?
