Everyone seems to be tried and true about the 6 bolt engine, I personally have faith in my 7 bolt not to mention I figure if the engine is taken care of and properly built it'll have a small chance of failing right? Well maybe a low chance of about 10-15% (guessing). Anyways here's the plan and I would like some insight...
I've already discussed the turbo situation in another thread, this is more related to the overall picture. The current setup I want is mostly parts from DSM Graveyard...
Engine:
Manley Rotating Assembly (7-bolt)
Supertech Bronze Magnesium valve guides
Manley Intake/Exhaust Valves
3G ITM Lifters
ARP head studs
Kiggly Beehive Springs (retainers and seats)
Kelford Cams 264/260
ITM Master Gasket kit
Turbo Setup:
FP3065
44mm TiAL W/G
2.5" SS Housing - bolt on not v-band
I know I'm missing the control bits but as for the basic engine build and turbo hardware how am I doing? Any and all advice is welcome. Prime goal here is a HP curve with the peak of that curve at 600whp - the closer the better. Again any and all advice welcome.
