7 bolt crank swap (2g into 1g)

I have got a 7 bolt 1g motor that got right screwed up because of a certain mechanic who installed standard sized main bearings into a crank ground .25over. Now since I need a new crank, the 2g cranks seem to be more redily available and I was wondering if the a 2g crank would fit into a 1g 7 bolt with no issues. Thanks in advance.

Sadly not, I don't think the cranks are interchangeable between 1gs and 2gs.

actually, I think all 7-bolt cranks are the same (don't quote me on that though)

Hey i know this isnt exactly on topic but you may want to look into stroking your motor since you have to get a new crank anyways. i mean you will have to get pistons too but hey might as well go all out since your already going to be in there.

All 7-bolt 4g63 motors use the same crank MD346024
