hey i looked at some threads on dsmtuners about putting a evo crankshaft into a 1g 7 bolt motor...i brought my 1g 7 bolt block up to the machinist and the crank is bad...wil lthe evo crankshaft work..i would think so bc u can throw the evo rods/pistons into a 1g/2g 7 bolt so i need some insite here...

+1 would also like to know, I'm wondering if the different split thrust design would become a problem on the 1G 7-bolt blocks.

Chaz, the only thing i can see that may pose a problem is the evo 4g63 being backwards or whatever, take it to the machine shop and see what they say. But with evo rods and pistons fitting i cant see why the crank wouldnt work either. I cant help ya with this one but just my .02 cents. Was this Justin's old motor? I have a 6bolt that I BELIEVE has a good crank. Just keep in touch and let me know whats going on.
