I went to Archer Racing the other day, hoping that I could get some of the exterior trim clips for my 95 GST. Well, I could have gotten some, but they said the Mitsu warehouse was charging $7 a clip WTF Needless to say, I wasn't going to spend that much when I needed 30 of them. So I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy some for a more affordable price, or if anyone had any extra's I could buy.

Have to checked Chesney Auto Salvage? That's usually where I pick my misc stuff up, or eBay. I don't even go to Archer Racing because they are pretty much done with the DSM scene if you ask me. You would be too if you had a shop specialized in making Vipers even more deadly.

True story! LOL

ebay sells them if your talking about the trim clips and stuff.. Eclipse Talon 95 99 Complete Side Skirt Attach Clips a | eBay

i just seached "95 eclipse clips"

$70 for one side is pretty extreme of a price for some plastic clips if you as me.

Seriously, Chesney Auto Salvage!

Every 2G there still has the side skirts I'm fairly certain. Just bring them up and tell them they are misc clips you need and you'll probably get them for cheap.

Jnztuning are probably the best for oem parts, you can order each part you want and don't have buy in kits. They will a lot of the time call you to make sure everything is correct, highly recommend.

its about average price wise for new. when you go to the parts store its 10 bucks for a box of 4-5 but they dont carry our clips. they have similar but none that will work like factory. ive tried..

Hey red_devil where at on jnztuning did u find it? I've done business with them in the past and would much rather go with them, not that dsm graveyard is a bad company or anything, but if jnz offers something better I'd like to check it out!

Thanks guys for all the great resources. Being a 3 month old DSM'er, I'm still learning about all these great sites & places.

Urbansmoker1: Ya, I'm needing the exterior clips.

Believe it or not, I ordered mine off of amazon when I was doing my skirts on my mustang and the eclipse I have. I was able to find the 30 clips for just around $22 a set, its been awhile since of gotten them but check out Amazon.com, Ebay.com and even search around your local Auto-zone. If I find the receipt for when I bought them I'll send you a pm. :hellyeah:

No, you put them in your pocket and say "I couldn't find what I was looking for." or find something else larger you are looking for and buy that and pocket the clips. :sneaky:

Junkyard! I have a small army.of screws, bolts, relays, clips etc etc. if it fits in your pocket its free!

Hahaha spoken like a true DSMr.

Does anybody know if RockAuto.com carries these?? I have been looking but cannot seem to locate them. But that is a good deal on clipsandfasteners.com and they have a lot to offer.

BTW... I have made out with a few various screws/bolts from the 2gs that have been sitting in the wreck yard for months... I am sure that most wrecking yards figure half the people walking out have a little bolt or two in their pocket and they don't mind. I have even made out with an AWD brake caliper piston or two in my day from the yard. ;)
