I just started my car for the first time last night with the JDM 6bolt in it and it ran like crap. I'm pritty sure that it is missfireing. Can any one tell me if I should use the 2g coil pack with the plugs switched or not switched, or should I splice the wires and put on the 1g? My second question is what lower radiator hose do I use a 1g one dose nat seem to fit my lower intercooler pipe is in the way.

Either coil pack will work. If it's running like crap the coil pack could be ca-ca but it's not because its either 1g or 2g both work just fine. (tested my self)

I'm using a 2g head so I'm not sure about which water pipe, however I don't think the 2g water pipe even comes close because it hooks upto the thermostat housing underneith were the 1g comes off the big front pipe which angles down. I woudl think the 1g lower water pipe. You may need to make aftermarket intercooler pipes to solve your problem. I also hear you run into problems of the water pipe hitting the shifter counter weight. Some guys cut it off but I hear it's not a great shifting feeling with it gone.

I can field this one out as well listen to Jim he has seen both setups mine and his both are different he is 2g head I am 1g head.

The coil packs are moot either will work just use the 2g harness on the 1g coil pack if you use it. When you installed the engine did you swap the plug wires and rewire the ECU pins for the injectors? If not that does cause a choppy idle on the 95 its a must. I reused my lower rad hose but it does hit the counter weight on the shifter I am working on a solution to that right now I beleive I am just going to do a little tweaking to the pipe but that probably doesn't help you much.

No, I never swaped the wires or anything while it's out. Can you tell me how to do that it will help out alot. Even better do you have a diagram.

I'm going to work on it tonight and I'll get back to you how it goes.

/\ since he is lazy and isn't up yet, I will say that after we switched the wires it ran much better. He then did some other putsing such as coolant, intake, and radiator hose and then went to start it and it was running rough again. It starts without giving it gas but then idles for a few seconds and then dies.

P.S Matt remember to tighten ur lug nuts, I will be mostlikely at work. :thumb:

Yeah, What he said. Should I increase the idle it runs fine at 900rpms but i drops below that and then dies. When you switch the plug wires on the coil pack should coils in the coil pack face you or the bracket on it.

Switch pins and all that crap that goes with it. And also had to retime it, Now it runs beautiful. Now when I drive it and hit hits max boost(15 psi) fuel cut. what the hell is going on. Do I need a new fuel pump or what? right now I am running no exhaust at all and my mod list is in my profile. Can you help agian.
