I'm a 4g63 guy at heart and figured that with the turbo support would be better and more people would be in the know about turbos the size I need to reach my goal. I want a turbo that will see some street use but will not be my every day car so a little lag is ok but nothing gt42r crazy or anything. I want to make 500-600whp with the aid of at max a 75 shot for spool and more importantly than hp is I want to run in the mid 10's. I have a 420a which is the 2gnt engine so things are a little diffrent but I have a fully built engine with 10:5:1 compression. I knwo idealy you want lower compression for a turbo build but i got the whole long block for 1400 for everything and if you look at my mod list you'll see why I had to hop on it. Anyway I had purchased a bad ass nitrous setup with the intent to build a setup that would be NA most of the time and then get a 200-250 shot to run low 11's but it's just to risky as I don't have money or time to be rebuilding this motor if it just pops. So turbo it is. I was thinking gt35r t3 w/ .82 housing or 62-1 t3 in some varient but am curious if I could get away with something smaller like 60-1 t3 .82 or gt30r t3?? I do not want to use any more than a 75 shot even though I am fully built and don't want to go over like 26psi before spray to reach this goal as I will creep to around 30psi with spray which is the limit I'm thinking. I know that's a lot of info but I want to do this right and do it once. Any opinions or info would be greatly apreciated.:thumb:

GT35 or 60-1 will be big enough to give what you're looking for but I'd be very careful about how much boost you running. With a 10.5:1 compression I'd say you'll never get close to 30 psi or even 26 psi but I don't much about your car except the 10.5:1.

The point of running high compression is more torque and less turbo lag. Running lower boost will give equal or more hp on high compression engine than the same setup except lower compression but higher boost. Maybe it's completely different for 420a than 4g63.

No your right and I think I need to keep that into consideration as I don't want to pull crazy timing or run rich to compensat I would rather just run less boost which is why i asked because some turbo's don't really like less than 25psi when you get into turbos that can handel this much hp. Idealy and safely I would love to run 20psi and a 75 shot to reach my goal.
