Money isnt an object... I have a new motor sitting at the shop adn i want to do it rigt on time.. I am thinking a T66 with completely built witha 2.3 stroker but i want to know what parts to make this engine unbeleivable. With Nitrous too. SO let me see lists to work off of because i want to see what the shop wants t do and what you guys think.

ill be the first to say....

if you need to ask this then your probably not ready for such a machine. on that note if you really think you can do it here are some suggestions ....

stand alone, no safc here and someone that has proven they can tune whatever ecu it is you get
completely rebuilt bottom end with your pick of top of the line forged parts (crower, venoilas, etc.)
might want to give ceramic coating a try on those pistons or to reduce friction on the bearings
mod that fuel system... pump, rewire, afpr, injectors
i believe you would be on the edge or over for the stock ignition
send the head out to BJ's and let them tell you what you should do for that
let shepard or someone reputable take care of your tranny

and much much more.... but you get the idea

yeah you dont need one but they make the car alot more driveable with a big turbo...spooling up a 60-1 at or under 4k is nice :thumb: plus it doesnt cost much more for an extra .3L

if you plan on putting this through a 1998 GST spyder, which is listed under your name there, that will be the biggest waste of money ever... though money isn't an object. i'm pushing 266whp out my spyder on a 14b and i can barely get traction. 600hp + FWD + convertible = you'll kick yourself in the ass for not doing it to a GSX. you'll spin the tires in 5th gear at highway speeds. unless, of course, since money is not an object, you do an AWD conversion. but then your car will be 3500lbs+... unless you do a carbon fiber body, because, of course, money isn't an object... you get the point. if the shop you're dealing with doesn't already know how to make 600hp with a 4g63t, find another shop. a shop that races and builds strictly or mainly DSMs. because you will spend 5x the money (not an object though, of course) building it elsewhere because they don't have a clue. there have been 758064 of these threads before. and in everyone of them, you get the same response. GOOD LUCK.

Why don't you PM john shepherd or something? Or maybe just do some searching? And why are you using a fwd .. not to be rude but that sounds stupid.
 
Instead of a 2.3, why not get a Mangus 2.4L and be done with it rather than taking a risk on a 2.3L stroker.. Since you have a 2G, you are going to need a 6bolt anyway to make the stroker work (Not aware of a 7bolt 2.3L kit... ).. Good Luck... I would take a peek at rdrkt's threads about his 2.4L Magnus block.. Mildly tuned he put down ~550 to the wheels on an AGP 56trim...

A 2.3L is 2270cc and a 4G64 is 2351cc. The difference is .081 Liters, and the 2.3L doesn't require a possibly hard to locate block. You could also overbore a 2.0L block to a 86 mm bore and pick up that last bit of displacement.

According to Marco, the 2.0L block has stronger webbing in the mains for whatever that is worth.

The only real reason I see to use a 2.4L block is for the 156mm rod setup that Marco sells. Either way I would highly recomend buying pistons from Magnus, as his designs are superior to what others are selling and are not the same as the off the shelf piston everyone else sells.

Well i am doign the 2.4 stroker kit and T72 turbo with GSX underneath and NOS. And i am switchign the aut tranny for a race tranny for 3800. I am looking 20k worth of parts and yes it will eb on my convertible and yes it will be 4000 lbs and yes it will have 700hp. I wanted you guys advice because i got the list and i want to know what would be the best reliable parts for a SHOW car even tho i am goign to be hated for havign a 700 hp show car with a wide body kit and an air ride but hey i cant wait for the responses. I just put 10 k down so i hope you guys can help me and the engine will be out of magnus. SO let me know what u think.. :D :cool:

I think you are an idiot with way too much money. I hope you have a shop that you really trust with your money because you obviously have no clue what you are doing.

interesting..... your actually putting your money where your mouth is. obviously when you first posted i didnt believe you were actually going to do it or that you had the money to but apparently your not like the 4894895 other guys who have made this same type of thread, at least not totally like them. i still think from what you have said that you dont know what your doing for the most part. anyone can go through a catalog and pick out all the parts that are "the best" i really hope your getting a lot of help from someone who has done something like this already.

as for the setup you said you are getting... i hope you dont plan on racing. that air ride suspension just wont do. i understand the need for it to win some shows but with 700 hp i dont see how you could avoid racing, i know i couldnt.
who is doing the tuning and what are you using to tune?
who is doing the gsx conversion?
and yeah your damn right it will be 4000 lbs, full weight plus slightly bigger engine, air tank for suspension, nos tanks, probably a system if its going to be shown, big heavy wide body kit, and who knows what else your planning. i personally dont think you will like how it rides, off boost of course. good luck.
by the way, what compression ratio and how much n20?
 
looks fine to me, anyone have experience with this? ive never heard of it before.
 
ya know what forget i said anything here, you should start another thread for that, dont jack cause if its something new, which im guessing it is there could be a lot of questions about just the ecu itself.

why is it all the people that don't know shit and are too lazy to research or learn first hand are the ones with all the money? If you have a shop do all that for you I hope you don't consider it "your" car ... anyone can give a shop 20k and have them build something. :thumbdown
 
For one if I was you just buy GSX and built it up. In the spyder you'll kill urself. I had 400 in my GST from a T-25. And it took alot to adjust even tho I had a LSD. I'm shooting for 600 in my new GSX and 2.4. Without NOS. You don't need NOS for 600 or 650 with a stroker or Built motor 2.0. only problem will be. If you use NOS and Blow up car up. You'll say forget racing. You don't need 20K to make a 700 hp car. 10k tops. I'm doing mine for 5-6 k.

Dude you are full of CRAP... :laugh: Whoever did the dyno run you need to go get your money back because someone lied to you-

I will go as far to say I will have one of the fastest T-25 cars for being FWD and I am no where close to 300whp. Just for the simple fact that it is not even possible for a T-25 to handle it.

I would love to see you make a 700hp 2.4 for less than 5-6k... Then when you are done with that then I have some beach property I would love to sale you located in AZ :thumb:

No play boy I meant jumping from my t-25 to my 60 trim was a huge jump trying to control the car. I'm not full of crap babyboy. I don't have to lie to kick it.. Sorry if I confuse ya.
 
WEll i dotn know what the #### im doign and yes i buy everything i want and yes it is my car because i paid for everything.. SO go #### yourself and dotn hate because u cant do what i do... I wont race the car i just lovve my spyder... IM droppign off the rest for the parts after i talk to a few companies and magnus should have my other engien soon adn yes it will be chromed dipped

2.4 kit is 1100 or 2.0 built kit for 1000 (including bearings)
6 bolt block junkyard or trader for 150
Machining the block and honing-300
PTE 60 trim or 56 trim 800
Ported out 2g exhaust manny (drill and brit from walmart -30 buck
Drivetrain (ACT 2600,flywheel and steel shift fork-800)
MAFT,880cc, Supra Pump, BM AFPR-800
FMIC KIT -800
HKS 272,& Sheet Metal intake-1100
Custom side 3 in exhaust.. 150

6030 and if you want 200 for misc parts...
