60' Times on stock suspension.

Was at the track a few weeks ago, some how managed to pull a 1.586 on my second pass, curious if anybody else is hitting crazy 60' times on stock suspension.

I am running original stock springs, stock rear struts (not sure how old, but they look REALLY OLD, might even be original), Front struts were blown so I replaced them with 30 dollar napa stock replacement struts . This is in a 5 speed car, running 26" tall hoosier QTPs.

Curious what other 60' times people are managing with stock parts.

Mr. Peepers has been 1.41 or 1.42 on bone stock suspension, qtps and limiter straps.

I've been close to that with rock hard street tires. 1.60's

I would that limiter straps keep the suspension from being able to extend beyond a certain point

you can make them. People use all kinds of things. Here is a pic of mine for my FWD car.

Its what quad guys do to there banshees to make them sit low for cheap .
