6 bolt swap?

I recently picked up a 92 eclipse turbo, the car cant be registered so i decided to take out the 6 bolt 4g63t in it and rebuild it and swap it into a new eclipse. I also own a 95 gs and i have found out that the swap on that is just way to much work. So ive decided to buy a 95-99 gsx that will need a motor. The only thing is i took the motor out of a front wheel drive eclipse can it still be swapped into a gsx?? also how difficult would it be to swap i obviosuly understand there will be a little modification needed but i am new so any advice would help..Also if i cant swapit into a gsxwould a gst work??

You would only be changing out motors. The motor is exactly the same on GST/GSX. Only diff is transmission/transaxle and the obvious AWD and its components. The swap itself isnt that difficult. For a first timer it will take you a while. Dont rush, take your time. Read up about the engine mount mod, and what you need to keep from the 1g motor and what you need to change out with your 2g parts. Good luck to you.
 
I kno i have a long way to go not trying to rush into anything...any advice on where to start and whats needed and whats not needed??
 
I kno that eclipses and talons are pretty mush the same..would it matter if i bought a talon or eclipse to drop the motor in??

Do a lot of reading. LOTS AND LOTS. Make sure you know what you need to do. If you have any ?'s, which I know you will. Just come here and ask. One of us experienced/6bolt swap vets will help you the best we can.
 
Any other sites that you can recommend would be helpful...do u think the 6 boltswap would be my best option i heard the 6 bolt eliminates the problem of crank walking and can build more hp
 
I hear good and bad things with the 7 bolt, its the luck of the draw from what I can tell
