I apologize if this has been covered before. The only info I found on this was a follow up saying that the diagram and how to are at a "Magnus" web site. Not sure what that is.

Anyway, I have a 95 Talon TSI AWD and I am in the process of doing a 6 bolt swap. My DSM buddy instructed me that the 1G CAS sensor on the engine will need to be spliced into the 95 harness crank sensor (since the 6 bolt has no crank sensor).

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to do this wire splice?

Thanks!!!

Thank you, Thank You, Thank You!!!

I can't express enough how much help this site has been in so many different ways.

Yeah, I have been working on my talon build for about 4 months now and have had so many questions answered and met so many great people. The biggest challenge for my build is that I am working with a mutt of a car. A 95 TSI AWD that was originally automatic and now I'm doing a 6 bolt swap with a 5 speed. This is my first Talon build, it's a lot to take in. I seriously would have given up if it were not for this site.

Thanks again everyone!!

You can splice the 1G CAS into the wiring. I've done it both ways but I've found it's easier if you get the adapter kit from Magnus Motorsports. That way you also have options on what you can do in the future.
