6 bolt non turbo block question

i have a chance to get a 6 bolt nonturbo block it i want to do a rebuild the engine are the internals the same as the turbo? can i used turbo internals?

the bock is the same the pistons are differnt. And the N/A bock does not have the oil squirters.

Ya only downside for these is no oil squirters but you could have a machine shop add the holes for 100 bucks or so.

In a n/t block the ports are not even there, but you could have them put in. I believe its a screw in. Either way is ok I ran a block without them for a while but I do recommend putting them in.

Is there any write ups or anything with pics? Is there a spot to screw them into? I found a site that sell them. i want to make sure im not getting into something to deep because i saved money on the bottum end.

If its a non turbo block no you will need a machine shop to tap the oil line. Turbo blocks can just replace old ones with new ones.

A lot of guys run with the 6bolt NT blocks without oils quirters, and have no problems. Mavisky raced his 6bolt NT block without oil squirters for a long time.

You don't really need them.
