6 Bolt MT into a 95 TSi AWD

I did a search, but I couldn't find any specifics. Anyone done this before. I'm looking at purchasing a 95 TSi AWD that needs a new motor and tranny. It has the 95 MT ECU. How easy does a 6 bolt drop into this, and what transmission is needed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to start my summer project!

I don't see how this is different than any other 6 bolt swap? You did a search you say?

yeah, i did search. I couldn't find anything specific on the awds. So is it safe to assume that the 2g awd tranny will bolt up to the 6 bolt and thats it?

i just got a 6-bolt swamp for my GSX alot of mods to the engine but the trans bolted up without a hitch

Great, thanks. From what I've been able to figure out, everything should bolt up no prob. The hardest part will just be wiring, but there's quite a few how-tos out there for the 6 bolt swap.

2g trans bolts upto 1g motor no problem. You can not use a 1g trans in a 2g car however so don't even think about that.

u can put a 1g trans in a 2g you just have to make custom trans mounts and peen the stock crossmember, plus a few other minor details. I have a jdm galant vr4 trans in my 95 tsi awd.
