That is what is coming in the mail in a few days. I also have a walbro 190 fuel pump, hallman in cabin boost controller, boost gauge, voltmeter and air/fuel gauge ( I might send back need to get egt and dont really need it I think). 2.5'' downpipe and catback, bc cams 264 is the number im looking for. They aern't the 272's i know that. I also have hardpipe upper ic pipe. I really dont want to get an afc right now. Will my car run okay with out the afc? What kind off power should I be making. How much boost should i run safetly? Is there anything else i should look into. :confused:

Sorry the 14b isnt new. The keydiver is said to have a good tune on it for the maf and injectors(the guy i bought it from has a 90 gsx that upgraded to gm maf and dsmlink). I dont know to much about keydivers anyone fill me in?

KEYDIVER Chips - DSM ECU Tuning

You can use the chip all alone, without an SAFC. The safc is to make little adjustmens which are not really necessary unless you want a pefect tune, since the chips have a pretty good tune already. I plan on getting rid of my safc and use just a chip, just because im not into all that tuning scene. If you buy the chip, you can send it to Jeff, the owner of dsmchips, and modify the settings to your choice depending on what mods you have, for a small fee. Before ordering the chip, or sending yours to be modified, you can email Jeff, im sure, he will give you good advice. Good luck. :thumb:
 
If you get the guys name you can email keydiver and find out exactly wats on the chip. Thats what i did when i baught mine. ### my car came with one and he gave me all the specifics. as long as your system is exactly the same as what the chip is burned for then youll be fine. if not then you might need to get it redone.
 
Im not sure the guy said the chip would work fine because its almost the same set up as his but he has an evo3 16g and hks 272 cams. I just got this car a few months ago so im trying to take good care of it. Dont want anything bad happening to it. The guy told me whats all on it some basic stuff was like no lift to shift, 7500 rpm limit, stock boost gauge measures knock, shutterbox (i have no idea what this is) 550 cc inj, 2g maf, something about fuel maps, and some more stuff. Do you think i still need to get it burned for my car because im pretty much running the same set up he was with smaller cams and turbo.
 
You really need to invest in at least a logger if you are going to modify your car, especially with all this stuff, all at the same time. I don't see one listed, and you could do serious damage to your engine if things aren't set up correctly, or if the chip isn't burned as described. Don't waste money on an a/f gauge, it's not good for much...spend a little more money and get a WBo2 so you can see exactly what's going on. And while you are installing that 190lph pump, might as well rewire it so that it will be at it's best. Don't turn the boost up past 15-16psi until you can at least borrow a logger and/or WB from someone who can tell you how to use them.

Jeff (Keydiver) will reburn his chips for around $20 IIRC. As suggested above, give him the guys name and he'll be able to tell you exactly how it's burned. If there's any difference between your setup and the one that the chip was made for, he'll suggest changes. Sounds like though you'd be safe, just not perfect, if you used the existing chip. A bit rich on the top end I suspect due to reduced airflow. And while it's not completely necessary, having an afc will let you really nail down a pretty solid tune when used with the chip.
