I am installing a MegaSquirt n Spark Extra Ecu to my neon, and I have the option of using a GM HEI ignition module or a 4g63 ignition module. The 4g63 Module is said to be the better choice. In order for me to use the 4g63 Module I need to know what each pin is used for, also the way I understand it, is earlier than 91 use a 5 pin module and 91 and newer uses a 7 pin, is the only difference is the 7 pin has a tach output signal? An explanation or a digram would be greatly appreciated.

Or can someone point me in the right direction for wiring diagrams, I just don't want to buy a service manual for one component of a car.
