5.9 in the 1/8th then ran out of gas.....

Just like the title says...we had the car at Mason Dixon for a 12-5 test and tune. Car finally pulled a reasonable 60ft after some dialing, 1.40, and went 5.9 at 119 in the 1/8th. Unfortuneately, right at the top of 3rd gear it broke up (out of gas), so I stuffed it in 4th gear and shut it off. Coasted through the back half of the track (literally), to a 9.74 at 114, WOOHOO! That's bringin' it in the big end.

Hopefully it's an 8 sec car. Of course, hell will probably freeze over before this pile of junk runs an 8. It consistently picks up about 37mph in the back half of the track. Now the dilemma is whether or not to run it again before the shootout.

What type of trans are you using??? SAVE IT FOR THE SHOOTOUT!!!

Non-dogbox Shep trans. It's ancient as well. At least 4 years old without a refresh.

Not to mention we're on a stock throttle body, un-ported head, stock size valves, and a stock ECU that has no adjustment past 8k rpm. Stock engineering FTW! haha
