I have a BBK 75mm throttle body but i've been told by a few people it's a 4.6 and some say it's for a 5.0...how can you tell for sure?

i do believe the 5.0 flange is alot wider than the 4.6 flange. I bet money its the 5.0 version since most aftermarket im use the 5.0 flange.

I thought BBK stamped their part numbers into their TB's... I could be wrong though.

Post a picture of it and we'll tell you which it is.

Or you can compare pictures on BBK's website and figure it out for yourself.

I uploaded some pictures. I tried on BBk website but i'm a noob and nothing.

99gst_ racer... sorry to correct you...the one in the pic is a 4.6 Ford... the 5.0 has a offset bolt hole..

the top one is a 5.0, note how the upper left bolt hole is offset.....also the 5.0 is longer than the 4.6

I had to build an adapter flange for my use on a 2300 Ford engine.. you can see the offset better
