4g64 crank bearings same as 4g63

As I posted on another thread. My crank shaft main bearings thrustbearing mainly seems different do I need to use 4g64 bearings instead of the4g63 bearings they are a different part number.
 
Why do they have a different part number then and my 4g64 crank isn't flat on the side looks like the bearing on the side is supposed to fit in a groove but is two big only hits little of the outter edge edge causing it to wear down and fail.
 
I just had a 6 bolt slowboy kit built by SIM with 4g63 bearings. Allen never mentioned any problems. Spins like a champ! Those guys are AWESOME! And do hella great work too!!
