ok heres the deal last summer i bought a 95 eagle talon TSi FWD i had it for 3 days and it went on me....iv been told its jsut the head gasket but im pretty sure its much more then jsut that.... i had a really good friend of mine look it over and he thinks N2o might have been ran threw it at one point in time....any way iv been looking into swaping the motor with a newer but less mileage motor...as i was doing so i ran across the evo 4,5 and 6 4g63T....iv been asking and asking people if it will fit my car and no one seems to know.....its the same motor as what my talon has and if i rember right it is also place the same way as my 4g63T in my car because i know the newer ones arnt....iv been told it would work but ill have to get a TSi or GSt manuel tranny to do it *tranny swap* well help me out please i want to get my car running!!!!!!!!!

No the engine sits the same as the newer Evo's. If you want an Evo engine than you need to get an Evo 3 engine.

Like he said you have to go three or older.

research a "6 bolt swap". It is taking an engine from a 90-92 dsm(early 92's only) and putting it in a second generation dsm.

If you need help with this I have done it a few times pm me and I should be able to get you in the right direction, or check out www.magnusmotorsports.com they have a good article on it.

Do the 6-bolt, it isn't that expensive, it isn't that hard, and it rules out the overrated crankwalk issue.
