Hey guys I have a 1g tsi awd, I just installed a bigg fmic with hks bov on stock ( got it cheap), I installed an autometer boost gauge and I was running it. I noticed a large increase in power after 4000 rpm, like very noticeable it just goes at 4000. So then I started looking at the boost guage and it went up to like 16- 18 psi every time!? I didn't even install the boost controller yet. Is it possible due to the large intercooler and piping that it would increase the airflow and increase the psi?. Then I hit the fuel cut when I pull on third but I know that's the fuel pump that I need.

Now I do want gains but I was told I need afuelpump, and injectors and a bigger turbo before. Am iforgettinv anything besides a tune?

But if anyone knows how to solve my problem let me know pleeease

You have a boost leak somewhere man, its very common to find and least one when installing a fmic. Boost leak check will solve that problem.

FMIC+BOOST leak= Boost CREEP :thumb:

Boost leak is going to cause you to run richer, like crap, and possibly bog or detonation etc.
Boost leak test? Sounds like your 1/8" hose going to the wastegate has a crack in it or isn't even hooked up.
