What my plan is to do is as follows.

Convert from automatic to manual because I cannot afford the mods I want + a performance auto transmission.

Going to go with a Stage 2 Port on the heads since that should easily handle the mods I plan to put on it.

Engine Mods: High Lifters (I have no idea what brand to go with for this, any help is appreciated), Engine is already bored 30 over, Brian Crower Cams, Valve Train Package (Not sure on the brand to go with), Performance Exhaust Manifold (Again not sure on brand to go with it), Small 16G Turbo

Transmission: Light Weight Flywheel, Stage 1 Clutch

I'm just trying to do what I can without dumping a whole ton of money.

Say for a budget around $2,000.

After the engine is up to the par I want, going to go with a megan suspension system.

Any suggestions on brand parts to go with and any other information would be appreciated thanks.

I wouldn't recommend the VRSF FMIC unless you can find an older one. I have one of the first ones that they produced. It fit Okay, but I still had to beat the crap out of the jpipe flange and hone it to get it flat. And even then I had to put 2 gaskets on it to get a solid seal.

From what I have heard the newest set they produced in buy-in have issues with the J-Pipe flange, the throttle elbow flange, and piss poor bov flange placement. You can buy the proper flanges from certain vendors and have the piping bent/welded for you a local exhaust shop.

Also the Small 16g will not get you past 350 whp reliably. For 400-500 WHP your going to want a e316g, 20g, HX35 with BEP housing, etc. You will also need DSM Link, larger injectors, wally 255, an Adjustable Fuel Pressure regulator, and your basic bolt-ons.

Lucas English's Wife ran a Stock Auto to a 10.6. So the stock auto trans can take a piss load of punishment. You would be lucky to run 400 whp on the stock 5 speed transmissions.

Also I would avoid Brian Crower if at all posible. Dyno test have proven you can get similar results with Delta Regrinds. BC Cams are pretty well the worst cam available even if you consider how cheap they are.

i like this, it's like the "if it aint broke dont fix it" quote. upgrading never hurts though. im my opinion though, spend the extra money if you can so you can get the more reliable parts.

It's like that...It's also the fact numerous people pointed out the amount of power and times these trans. can hold. If it is blown then now is the time to enhance. If it's moving well, ride it out. Spend elsewhere in the meantime, save money to properly redo the trans later.
