would it be feasabile to try and modify a tubular 4g63 header to fit a 420a turbo setup? i have welders and a mill at my disposal. a diagram to compare the 2 flanges and dsm wismen input would be apreciated!
thanks

No, you'll need a new flange and it just isnt worth the trouble and hassle. Just go buy one they aren't that expensive :)

It'd be easy enough. If you have an exhaust flange for the 420, just cut the 4g flange off and weld the new one on. Like interex said, the 420a specific manifolds are relatively inexpensive now.

Actually I have been looking into this a lot lately. The problem with the 4g63 manifold is that it puts the turbo so far to the left. I would look at getting a manifold for a honda or something that centered the turbo flange and it will be easier to make it fit to our cars. Thats what I plan on doing soon. This would also allow us to use the 4g63 or housing so the exhaust would be easier to fabricate.
