Has anyone heard of issues with phantom/incorrect knock detection due to using a 4G63 knock sensor on a 4G64? In theory, that could cause issues, because the knock sensor is designed to work with a specific engine, which picks up knock frequencies that occur and are very much tied to the cylinder bore.

I have been told that I have to run the knock sensor that matches the ECU, is this true?
