Knock sensor wont go past 9. Does this mean I need a new one. 0-9 is all is goes

rpm 4125
knock 9
timing 12
02 0.86
air flow 0hz
inj d/c 48%
tp 63%

i think i need a new knock sensor but need a second opinion.

Is your CEL on?
The computer defaults the knock count to 9 when it cannot get a reading from the sensor, usually this means the KS is unplugged or in extreme cases the wires have been cut or melted through. Reach down the back of the intake manifold until you hit a bracket, the knock sensor is mounted underneath the bracket and the wire is attached to the bracket as well. You should be able to feel whether or not the wire is attached when you reach down; barring that, the KS can also be reached from the bottom if you remove your downpipe. If the sensor was bad, it would most likely max the count to 43 on your logger. Hope this was helpful.
Aloha
