That 'Teg is georgious :thumb: Make sure you post some track times as soon as you run that sexy thang.

What parts have you used to build that botom end to handle 16-25psi? What ECU or stand-alone (like Hondata) are you gonna use to match up with air/fuel and raise that rev. limit?

yea, nice car :)

now bring it up here, and race me in the pouring rain :)

good to see someone who does more than put big wheels and a wing on his Honda, with a fart can.

Nice engineering, well done

Wont have any track times til next spring. DAMN WINTER!!!

The bottom end has AEBS T Sleeves (good to 55 psi), JE Pistons (9:1 comp, 81mm bore), JE Rings, Crower Rods, and a polished and balanced crank.

I'm running Hondata 4b w/ 720cc RC Injectors, an AEM FPR, and a Comptech 255 l/hr Fuel pump for fuel delivery. Ignition is handled by an MSD 6AL w/ external blaster2 coil.

Valve train is comprised of Supertech Nitride Coated Stainless Valves, Mugen Valve Springs, and Skunk2 Titanium Retainers.

Hehe. Tractions a #@%#@%#@%#@%#@%!

Hell the car on the outside right now looks like ASS. I'm rolling on 14" steel wheels w/ a set of blizzaks mounted up for that whole winter traction thing. :D

You couldn't tell it was turbo unless you caught the FMIC in the front bumper. :D

And thanks for the comments...

hehe, in the dry you'd school me, but I can't find anyone except for the Talon AWD or the Subaru AWD types that will race me now :) It has been raining for a few days now.

I like being able to almost floor it and not get too much wheel spin, lots of fun :D

i find it that the average 4g63 dsmer knows a bit more about hondas than the average honda owner. i think it is because dsmers are more willing to research/acknowledge another kind of car than the average honda-er. most of the honda peeps i have seen on boards, met in real life, chatted with, etc... know very little about the opposition. I am not saying i know a GREAT deal about hondas but at least i know wat VTEC stands for :)

:dsm: Thats appreciative for other car owners to know something about another make before clowning on them and talking out there ass before they actually know what they talk about. If you study another type of car (maybe one type of make in perticular you dont like) you can learn to appreciate what they can do for they're class. Certain things are in certain classes (not saying a Honda cant ever beat an AWD DSM, but also saying thats not an easy task).

Bottom line, yes there are alot of people out there who make bad names for Hondas, yeah theres alot of rice out there too. But theres also ALOT of Honda owners who know what theyre doing and have NOTHING but absolute respect for other types of cars/people without bashing them (me formally being one of them) and keeping the art of "hooking up a car" FUN....Like its supposed to be

What are you talking about, a different class? It's a front wheel drive 4 cylinder, just like all the other front wheel drive 4 cylinders, including DSM's. Appreciate what it can do for it's class.

Say that then, don't assume everyone knows you're referring to AWD only. A 92-95 hatch weighs roughly 2100 pounds. I don't know the exact weight of a GST but I'm sure it's at least 250-300 pounds more.

I DID SAY THAT BRO, SEE!!! Did I say FWD DSM anywhere in here? NO Did I say AWD DSM? YES. Obbviously I DID point that out, thanks.

2.0L Turbo Motor as in 4G63? or 2.0L Turbo Motor as in a turbo'd B-20?

THANKS for the compliments :)

Everyone needs to calm down hehe :D

Each and every type of car has its advantages and disadvantages!

How is that v-tec-turbo both feel like? Im shure its nice my friend had a gsr turbo also and it would never catch traction i think hondas are verey anoying with there traction problems ii makes me want to drive the streets with slicks. :dsm:

If i were to get a honda i would just leave the stock motor and go turbo. they are a waste of time and money i havent had one beat me yet im sure my day will come but it hasent so im saying this

I your sure you didn’t mean to say 260? 390 would have to be the 18g HP record and completely impossible with the mods your have listed. you didn’t even do the flywheel to wheel hp calculation correctly. Why would you even say something like that
Im still waiting on a response

I haven't found all that many fast B16a hybrids around me. It's a waste I think, if you're going to spend the money to do a swap like that then go B18, Much more potential.

$5000 to swap in a b16a1 into a crx...damn he must of got ripped off pretty good or bought some extra parts to go with the swap. B16a1's are way cheaper than b16a2's and the a2 swaps are usually done for about $3400 at most shops.

he had all custom shift linkage and custom motor mounts made. Plus he had like 3,000 dollars worth of parts for it and we towed his car a show cause his motor wasnt done left it in a parking garage the night after the show and all of his stuff got stolen even his wheels he had an jg intake manifold fuel rail regulator header, intake, type R throttle body his wheels and tires all stolen out of a parking garage of a hotel.

That's rough. People can be scumbags. I assume he had no alarm then. That's one place I would not leave me car if I didn't have an alarm, whether the engine was in it or not.

if you put a bowtie on a piece of SHlT what do you get? A piece of SHlT with a bowtie. I've burned crazy stripped down b16 CRX's in my 6G72 many, many times already. They're loud, obnoxious, somewhat slow and not worth the time

If you want some real honda power and that real honda sound, go with a Briggs and Stratton quantum engine

Just my opinion, but hondas need major overhauls for speed. Whatever floats your boat i guess

I agree with the fact that they are quite loud- not that that would bother me, but the sound IS obnoxious like you say. I would have no problem with a loud rumbling V8 in front of me, but a Honda makes me somewhat homocidal :shhh:
