OK GUYS, I have a good one....i have a 1mm over 4g63T block sitting here begging to be built. I also have the 10/10 crankshaft sitting next to it ready to go in. i even have my rods. but i have reached a big stop on the pistons! Thing is, i want to set it up with the highest compression i can.( sorry, i am just an all throttle type of guy) now i have heard that you can use internals from the old 1.8 colt motors to get bigger horsepower but what should i do? can i do this with what i have? what's the piston and wrist pin size? oh no, that headache is coming back... anyway, long story short, what piston do i get to get the max horsepower and strength out of my engine without having to scrap everything i have already done? I do all my own work so the time and manpower isnt a problem.

I'm guessing you're staying non-turbo, correct?

Magnus will build you pistons with any compression ratio you desire if you have deep enough pockets.

Get some 12.5:1's and a MLS head gasket, and give it hell!

when i started this build i had an almost unlimited budget at hand... sadly now i am not as lucky. but thanks for that info, i have some time since this is gonna be my spare engine. i just rebuilt what i have in it. (again)i have always kept it pretty well stock internals till now.

and yes, i want to stay naturaly asperated . i am using the turbo lower end because of the oil squirters and the heavier rods.
