I have a Garrett T3/TO4E 50 Trim Turbo with a .48 turbine housing. IM looking for 400whp on racegas, my car is going to be street & strip. I want to know whats the differance in performance so if its recomended to upgrade it before i install it.

The .48 will spool up quicker than the .63, by around 7-1K rpms.
That turbo will put down at or a little over 500 with a good tune.
The 650's might take you to high 300's, low 400's. I would look at 750's personally.

You can do 400 on race gas with that .48 housing but if you ever want to unlock the potential of that turbo on your motor then you will have to put a larger housing on that turbo. Remember, you can't get in what you can't get out. You'll enjoy the response that .48 housing will offer though.

650's is plently of injector for a 50 trim.

I definately agree. My friend and neighbor is enjoying his t3/t4 with the .48 housing at around 390whp out of his KA24E engine. This is a stock 240sx SOHC 2.4L. He's running 550cc rx7 turbo injectors. He has let me drive and all i have to say is it feels like he's got a roots blower under the hood it spolls faster than my small 16g and pulls throught the mid range like my 18g. all this in a 12valve head with water injection.
