420a. Wont start need to get to school. HELP!

Okay so this morning i went out to start my car and let it warm up 5 min. before i left.

Ill turn the key and it goes a little pass 1k then drops all the way down and the CEL light comes on.

I gave it some gas when i tried starting it and holding it at 2k for a few seconds and as soon as i let off it dies and the CEL comes on.

Fuel filter? what could it be? HELP!

Unlike old carburated engines, pushing on the gas pedal does not mean gas will enter the engine. Pushing on the throttle allows more air to enter. 1- Is it getting enough spark? 2-Is enough fuel getting to the chamber? 3- Is combustion taking place? These are the questions you can answer then get back to us for more advise. Unless to have a lab scope or scan tool at your house then you can tell all sorts of things, but more than likely you don't have one.
